I made it through!! I was a little anxious about Christmas because I decided to do things that were easier for me and I was not sure how my family would take to it. I usually take control of everything from decorations, cooking and gift shopping. Well I let my husband and kids take care of the decorations and gift shopping and there was no cooking. We ate out and everyone loved it! It was really nice to just watch my family enjoy their gifts. It made me happy that the kids were so surprised that “Santa” brought them exactly what they wanted. I was even able to surprise my husband. I thought I did not do very well with the gifts for extended family but everyone was happy with their gifts. I know gifts are not what Christmas is about but i love giving gifts.
