With four kids you can imagine all the different types of toys that came into my house over Christmas. Of course I have some favorites and some not so favorites. So here it goes:
The new, slimmer PSP
Everything that was said about it was true. It is so much lighter than the original. The battery part does not get hot after long term use. It has 2 options for charging, through the normal plug and through usb. It loads up very quickly. The door for inserting the UMD disc opens with no problem and you just drop it in. And the biggest pro of all is the PSP can hook up to your tv!! That is so cool, it has to be the greatest upgrade.
The only complaint I have is the instructions. There are no clear instructions on how to send photos from one PSP to another or to play multi player games. I had to figure it out through trial and error.
Two great multi player games are WTF: Work time Fun and Super Collapse 3. You only need one UMD disc. With WTF you can outsource jobs for the other player and after they complete the jobs you get the money. With Super Collapse 3 you can play head to head with the other player. There is even a small version of your competitor’s screen so you can keep an eye on their score and progress.
Disney Princess: Royal Cash Register
Having 3 daughters, I have bought my fair share of cash registers but this one is the best. The number one reason being the price. I got it for $15 in early November, before Black Friday. This register is so much fun. It has three modes of play which is different but fun. It has tons of bar codes that really scan. The register says the name of the item and the price. When you are done ringing up your customer, the register ask you if you will be using cash or debit card. If you use debit, it has the machine you insert your card into. You then put in your pin number and it makes sounds like it is sending the credit info through. If you decide you are using cash , the register “speaks” and tells you the total and how much change you are to give to the customer. There are boxes for the items you sell with bar codes and price tags. Everyone had so much fun playing with it. Even me!!! Now my 9 year old wants one.
