Can you really make money online?

One of my new year resolutions is to earn some money this year so I have been obsessed with trying to make some money online. Boy did I find a lot and some were scams. But I found some really good ones too and I really had to search. So I am going to post my findings and all the details about each site I join and any tips I may come across.

The first thing I did before signing up anywhere is make a free email account at gigya. Some of these sites pay you to read email so signing up at gigya seemed like a logical choice, if I sent it to one of my regular email I would never find it!

I recently signed up for Inbox Dollars. It was very easy to sign up for and you get $5.00 just for joined. The site is fairly easy to navigate through. The categories are cash offers, cash surveys, cash games and cash shopping. In the cash offers category you can choose what type of offer you would like to do. The choices are 100% free, trial offers and survey offers. Inbox dollars also offer profile surveys that you can complete to earn money. You can request payment once your account reaches $30. That should not be too hard, already I have earned $6.22! There are easy to use banners and buttons to add to your website or blog to get referrals. I have received a good number of emails to read and none of it was spam. So far I have no complaints regarding the site except you can only get paid with a check no paypal. They seem to be truthful in what they are offering.
