Pay per click

I have been so determined to get out of debt, I have lost some of my common sense. I am usually very careful with computer. I constantly tell family to not click on just everything you see, it could have a virus. If it is too good to be true, it is so leave it alone. Do not open emails from someone you do not know, it could be a virus. Well guess what?  I kept getting a virus.Luckily it got caught immediately ever time and was taken care of(yeaaa Windows Live Onecare). After about the fourth time of getting this alert I stopped to think. I asked myself why does this keep popping up? It just so happens during these alerts I was clicking on ads for Tickled Pink. I immediately stopped clicking. Tickled Pink is one of those pay per click sites that pay you for clicking ads. You are also sent emails with ads in them that you must click on for them to count. I do not think I will participate in the pay per click sites that make me feel uneasy. The ones that make me feel uneasy are the ones where the from is printed like this : =??comic sans ms?b?dglja22xxlzsbpbmtwduil.  The subject line said:  =?Comic Sans MS?B?ZWRheXo=?= I can not believe I did not pay attention to this before. I feel like I need to get knocked on the head like those people on the V8 commercials. At least I only signed up a few days ago. I am starting to believe these type of sites are not worth the time. When you get $.0001 and $.001 per click, and you have to stay on the page for a determined amount of time, you are wasting your time.  It seems like you would have to click a lot of ads to make one dollar. I think that is why the payout amount is $5.00 It will takes months for you to earn that much. Now this is my personal opinion, these type of sites may work for some people and that is great. I just can not do it. I am going to take down all the banners for the ones that make me feel uneasy and close my accounts with them. I am going to continue to stick with the ones that state very clearly who they are from and what the subject is. So far Sendearnings, Snapdollars and Inboxdollars fall into that category.

While I haven’t used any of the sites that you mentioned in your post, I have used Amazon Mechanical Turk – http://www.mturk.com. You can earn a few cents by taking surveys, or more for doing podcast transcriptions. They’ll either credit your Amazon account (to be used like a gift card) if you want, or you can get a check sent to you. I did it a lot last year, and earned about $20.

For the Snapdollars site that you mentioned in your post, I just looked quickly, and it seems like you have to sign up for “Offers” to get the payout. Do you know what an “offer” entails? I’m wondering if you need to pay for the “offer” in oder to get the overall payout… Are the other 2 sites like this? (I’m asking rather than looking at them myself because I can’t access the other 2 sites. The firewall at my office is blocking them, and my internet connection isn’t currently working at home.)

I totally agree! PTC takes forever to earn. It just doesn’t seem worth it to me.
