If you do qualify for tax rebate, how much could you get?

Almost everywhere you look, this is on everyone’s mind. Mine included. There are tons of questions; who will get rebates, how much will you get, when will you get the rebate?

After searching on the web, I found an article at fox business. The article has information detailing what type of tax payers will actually qualify and why. There seems to be a base amount you can get and $300 for each additional child.

The bottom line is over 100 million families will get the tax rebate, if the bill becomes a law. If it does become law, checks will not be mailed until at least 60 days later.

I found a rebate calculator, could not get it work here but it is up on my other blog

Was checking that article out today, and found a calculator that can tell you how much you could potentially receive. Mine? Big fat zero.

Ah well, the thought was nice while it lasted. I hope that those that get it use it wisely, but I doubt that’s the government’s aim.

Hope you have a fantastic weekend!!

Here’s an easy-to-use calculator which will accurately compute your tax rebate according to the final legislation that was signed into law on 2/13/2008.
