As I have said before, you can never have too many tips about anything. I think this is especially true when it comes to saving money. There are so many tips out here that sometimes you see the same tips. I have did a little research and found a few of those money saving tips.
- wash and dry clothes inside out, it will prevent fading. it also helps to protect clothes that have decorations on them
- rip dryer sheets in half. they still work the same
- use those ripped dryer sheets for dusting
- wash clothes in cold or warm water, you do not need to always use hot water!!
- every few months, use a quart of vinegar and run your washer through a full cycle
- hang clothes to dry instead of using the dryer
- when you have stains on clothes try to get them out before throwing them out. Mrs. Clean has some great stain removal tips!!

Hi,

thanks so much for the nice comment.
good advise.. what about the washer ..? it is good enough for your cloths to cleans up.?
oh yeah. I make sure I always wash the “rags” together and I have had no problems. My husband hates the rags though, he would rather have sponges
Great tips. Also, if your washer ever goes out, have a look at the newer, more efficient models like the Fisher-Paykel. I have had one for a year or so, and aside from using less water in the first place, the spin cycle is much more powerful than most washers. This gives the dryer less work to do. So, less water for the washer, plus less electricity for the dryer. Win-win.
