I am a big procrastinator so of course my answer is no. But it is on my list so does that count? I think sometimes it is just hard to decide what should I have in our emergency kit. I do not want to pack too much or too little. But something is better than nothing. Luckily when I was at Lazymanandmoney, he had some great suggestions. My favorite tip is the one about uploading important documents to the internet or portable hard drive. I do that with pictures but I never thought about back ups of birth certificates, social security cards, I.D. Another tip that caught my eye is the one about having emergency money. Having cash because atm machines and credit cards is a great idea. I am going to get my emergency kit together this week. To make sure I do it, I will post a picture when I have it done. This is a really good idea. You never know when you’ll need something, I almost lost my license in the airport yesterday (it almost fell down the elevator shaft) and I don’t know what I would have done.
