Just a little rambling

logo

I don’t know why but I kinda in a blogging mood so I figured why not blog away. So be warned this post may be a little all over the place.

My husband is so sweet. I am finally feeling better and have my appetite back so he brought me a little treat home. A chicken ranch sub from subway. $5 for a foot long sub is a really good deal. I used to be a huge fan of Quizno’s because they have a sandwich that is toasted with chicken and bacon. The only bad thing is they are really expensive for my taste. So I don’t get to eat there much. But this sandwich from Subway has toasted bread with cheese in it, bacon (nice strips not pieces), ranch sauce, chicken (nice chunky pieces), lettuce (which is fresh and not wilted), tomatoes, and did I mention a footlong? It is way cheaper than Quizno’s so I guess I have a new favorite.

I must admit I am definitely a kid at heart. I love to watch cartoons , play video games and even read some comic books. Recently I was able to travel back to my childhood with the help of a Amazon gift card I won from MommyDaddyBlog. I used the gift card to buy a dvd rom of a magazine I used to love to read when I was younger. MAD Magazine!! I used to read this all the time. The dvd rom is regularly over $35 but I got it for $12 with free shipping. The coolest thing about this dvd is it has every issue of Mad Magazine on it. You get all the regular issues plus the special issues with the ads, posters and everything else. I even get a chance to read the very first issues, now how cool is that? You can even print them out. This is one of my favorite purchases this year because I get to use it on my new laptop! I did not even know they put magazines on dvds but I am glad they did.
