Report Card Time

Well it is report card time in the 1stopmom household. I have been talking to Nannah about really getting serious about school this year since she will be going to middle school next year. We have had problems in the past with talking, passing notes and not turning in homework daily. She is doing so well! She got all A’s and B’s and has turned in her homework every day. She has made the Homework First list at her school so she will be able to go on a special field trip. I am very happy to report that K.K. is doing great in the speech department. I have posted before about how she has been very shy and not talking at all in school. Last year she started whispering to a few friends and to her teacher. But now she is seeing the speech therapist once a week and talking loud enough for everyone to hear her. I am beyond happy! Her teacher says she is also well mannered and very smart. She absorbs everything. She has been practicing spelling words and reading. She is doing so good. We did not get TJ’s report card because they have had a substitute for the last week or so. I expect his report to say good things to. The school has called a few times this year to let us know he was caught being good. He has been doing great in math and spelling. I know we have to work on his penmanship though.

Report card time around here is usually pretty anti-climactic. Tyler always makes straight A’s, he’s just too freakin smart. Ash scrapes by but does okay and she’s passsing. She did get in trouble last week though because she had Government homework she didn’t do. I grounded her from talking to vamp boy on the phone or computer and magically she finished all three chapters in one evening. Amazing what some motivation will do lol.
Sounds like your munchkins are doing wonderful, way to go mom!
