Am I the only one feeling a little relieved Christmas is over? Now don’t get me wrong I love Christmas but it can be very stressful. Between finding great gifts, cooking, decorating and gift wrapping I am exhausted.
Around 12:45 a.m on Christmas Eve my hubby and I prepared to wrap gifts. Well it turns out that I somehow forgot to get my 6 year old gifts. Well we had 1 of her gifts but that is it. I don’t know how we forgot. My hubby got called in on 5 of his last off days so that may be the reason. So I had get up at 5 to try to hit Toys R Us and Walmart before the other last minute shoppers got there. Oh yeah we were also supposed to get another 5 or 6 inches of snow ( like there wasn’t enough already!). Luckily my dad had some shopping to do too. So I didn’t go to sleep and just stayed up wrapping gifts and watching t.v. My dad came to pick me up and we found some great deals at Toys R Us. My son loves to make things with magnets so we buy a lot of Magnetix sets. We found all the Magnetix toys for 75% off. There was a $59 set that was on sale for $12.49!! I bought a few sets because TJ’s birthday is in 2 weeks and I just could not pass up that deal. We also came across a LeapFrog Fly Fusion Bundle Pack that had a regular price of $99.00. We got it on sale for $24.99!! It is so cool. It is a computer in a pen. It came with 5 additional pieces of homework software. You can even use it as a MP3 player. Nannah loves it. I found Jazz a LeapFrog Crammer Handheld Study Device. Regular price $59.99 and we got it for $14.99. It will help her to create unlimited flashcards and quizzes for every subject. It is also a digital music player. Jazz really likes it. Kayla ended up getting not 1 Baby Alive but 3! One drinks from a cup and wets her diaper. One goes to sleep when you twist her bottle. The other kicks her legs when her bottle is twisted.
Can you guess what I got? I got Animal Crossing for Wii!!! My hubby is the best! Plus a few years ago my Xbox broke so I have not been able to play my favorite games. He got me a replacement one. It was only $49 at Gamestop!! We paid way more for the first one. So if anyone got a Wii and the Animal Crossing game, let me know so we can be friends and visit each other on Wii!
