Well I should be used to the weather by now. I have lived in Wisconsin my entire life. So can someone please tell me why I act all surprised when it gets really cold? As I am writing this it is 1:40 am (don’t ask me why I am still up) -2°F. The wind chill is -21°F. By 7am wind chills could reach -40. We are on wind chill alert until Friday. I just can not believe it. It is so cold the city can not really salt the roads because the salt will just not melt the ice. It has not been this cold in 10 years! The school system was not sure if they would cancel school but I knew there was no way I was sending my babies out in that cold. Kayla and TJ are upset because they hate to miss any school. Nannah is happy to be able to sleep in and Jazz doesn’t care either way.As long as she can talk to her “boyfriend” she is fine. So my plans are to drink cocoa, play some board games and bake some cookies. Yep I said cookies! On another blog I found a recipe for 3 ingredient peanut butter cookies. I can’t remember where I saw it but when I do remember I will post the link.
So how is the weather where you live? Try not to tease me too much

Wow that is cold! I was watching the news and they were saying some states were -38 degrees. I couldn’t believe it. I live in California so I won’t tease you with our temperatures. The week before Christmas however a bunch of us saw snow. Which was awesome. =)

We’ve been hibernating today and our weather is quite warm: 13 degrees! At least compared to your weather!! Cocoa, painting, and way too much tv time today!

3 ingredient cookies. Oh you soooo know you’re going to have to share this woman!! Not that my butt needs them lol, but easy is great.
As for the temps here, the sun is shining and it’s a beautiful 49. Feels warmer though, maybe it’s because of the heater under my desk.

@Michele: California sounds so nice. I read a lot of places in the Midwest were experiencing bitter cold
I need to plug up my electric blanket. The cookies were sooo good. I am about to post the link.
@Jen: 13 degrees sounds so good! I never thought I would say that, lol
@Nessa: See, I knew you would tease me! Rubbing your 49 degrees in my face
