Small Talk Six: 6 Ways Not To Rub Me

The great ladies of MomDot have started a fun meme. It is called Small Talk Six. This is a meme where you can make a short or eleborate post in response to the assigned topic of the week. You can respond to each topic with a list of 6 words, 6 phrases, 6 sentences, 6 paragraphs or 6 photographs.

This week’s topic is: “6 things other people do that make you personally uncomfortable.

1: Pop Ups. I do not like it when people just show up at my house. It does not matter who it is. When people come by unexpectedly it can totally throw off my day. I have been this way forever. It makes my anxiety really bad.

2. Styrofoam: If someone is unpacking something or messing with those little peanuts it makes my skin crawl. For a really long time. Markers are in that same category. I hate the way they sound on paper.

3. It drives me crazy if I have a bag of chips or bowl of popcorn and some when just reaches their hand in. I don’t know where their hand has been and I don’t want it near my food!

4.Public restrooms. I can not use public restrooms. If the place just opened for the day or I know they are really clean then maybe. But nine times out of ten I just can’t. I don’t even want to look inside one.

5. I would have to say hugging too. I am only comfortable hugging my husband and kids. Everyone else not so much. I am not a big hugger to be honest.

6.Pictures. I don’t mind taking pictures of other people but taking pictures myself makes me feel so awkward. I took my first picture in about 9 years last year. I don’t like looking at picture of myself.
