That time of year has come around again. No I am not talking about the weather or a major holiday. I am talking about the new game Virtual Families. If you have ever played Virtual Villagers you will love this game. For those of you who don’t know Virtual Villagers is a game where you have this tribe of people and you try to make them survive while you complete tasks. Your villagers grow old, learn skills, have babies and everything. One of the best parts is the game is in real time. So when you are not on the computer , the game is still playing. Well Virtual Families takes it one step further and gives the villagers a house. It is like Sims but appropriate for kids of all ages to play. You get to praise your villagers if they are doing good and discipline them when they are not. You are able to get married too! One of my villagers is a beginning computer hacker. He sends emails to his wife. This game has added some modern ways of life to it that I just love. I recently got a rebate for saving money on the game! You can earn a trophy for clipping coupons! I am in a competition with my 11 year old to see who finishes first. She beat me in Virtual Villagers 3 which I have to admit was kind of hard
