Father's Day, Mom Central and Wendy's

Father’s Day is Sunday. Yep, it came around quick. I just found out about a promotion that Wendy’s is doing for Father’s Day. Well, they have been doing it for a few years now but this is my first time hearing about it. During Father’s Day weekend, Wendy’s will donate 50 cents from the sale of each Frosty to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. There is more than just the chocolate one to choose from. I like to get the Strawberry Frosty Shake while my husband leans more towards the Frosty Float.The money raised goes to the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids program, which funds full-time adoption recruiters at local agencies across the U.S., who in turn pair up parents with foster care children needing homes. That is not all Wendy’s is doing. They are making it easy for kids to help out and support this great cause too. Kids can create a fun Father’s Day eCard on FrostyCard.com. For every card they send, Wendy’s will donate an additional 25 cents to the Dave Thomas Foundation.
