Thanks to Mom Central, our family was invited to participate in the Listerine Oral Care Challenge. The kids were excited when I opened the box from Mom Central full of products to promote Oral Care. In the box we got Flosser and refills, dental floss, tooth stickers, a chart, and Reach Wonder Grip toothbrushes, Listerine Total Care, Reach Total Care Dental Floss and Listerine Agent Cool Blue.
It may sound strange but my kids like brushing their teeth. Jazz is 15 and never had a cavity!! So you can just imagine how eager they were to try everything out. We started we the Agent Cool Blue. This is a pre brush rinse that tints your teeth before you start brushing. It makes me think about those little pink tablets we used to get in school when they talked about dental health. Those would turn your mouth pink but it would go away once you brushed it. I wonder do they still do that. The kids have seen Agent Cool Blue on t.v. but have never had the chance to try it. I was a little worried about the kids pouring out too much of it. Of course Kayla had to give it a try.

See that little smile?

She got it all the way to the top!

But it went all the way back down!!

So it was time to try it out and get to rinsing.

The kids did not think the taste of the pre rinse was bad. It was a little sweet. We saw more of the tint on their tongues then on their teeth!

We learned so much during The Listerine Oral Care Challenge. With our box of goodies we also received a calender so the kids could keep track of their brushing habits and they did great! It turns out I really like the Reach Total Care dental floss. It cleans really good and does not make my hands sticky. When I use it with the Listerine Total Care my mouth feels rub your tongue across your teeth clean! The flosser is actually easier for the younger kids to use. It makes flossing much easier for them and they do it much more than they did before.
I am happy we were able to participate in the campaign. Not just because it is October and there is tons of candy floating around but because we were able to start a new healthier routine!
If you are interested in trying some of these products on your own there are some great coupons online. Save $2 on Listerine Total Care Mouthwash . Save $1 off Agent Cool Blue.
“I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Listerine and Reach and received Listerine and Reach products for the Oral Care Challenge and a gift certificate to thank me for taking the time to participate.”
Thanks to Mom Central I just found out about The Hannah’s Sock Holiday Sock Drive and wanted to help spread the word.
During Thanksgiving 2004, four-year-old Hannah Turner in Toledo, Ohio helped her mother Doris serve food at a local homeless shelter. While there, she saw a man with holes in his shoes and no socks. Hannah asked her mom if she could offer the man her own socks. The next day, Hannah’s mom took her to purchase and distribute socks to local shelters. They collected and donated over 100 pairs of socks around Toledo. Over the next two years, with the help of her Mom, family, and friends, Hannah distributed nearly 10,000 pairs of socks to shelters. Since then, Hannah’s Socks has collected over 100,000 pairs of socks for homeless and domestic violence shelters. Today, the organization kicks off the Hannah’s Socks Holiday Sock Drive, to collect socks and funds for this year’s upcoming winter and holiday season.
The Clorox Company became a sponsor of Hannah’s Socks this season as Hannah’s Socks strives to gather and donate 10,000 pairs of new socks to underprivileged children’s programs as well as homeless and domestic violence shelters.Families can also donate funds and find out more about Hannah’s Socks and the Holiday Sock Drive at www.hannahssocks.org.

We have a projector that we bought a few years ago for movie night. We have a screen and everything. I think it is cheaper than a regular tv and we love it. Unfortunately the bulb blew last summer and I have been debating getting it replaced. It costs like $200 and up. So my dad calls me on Sunday and tells me Kohl’s has a projector for $88 regular price $199. I am thinking it may just be too cheap. But my husband goes and gets it and guess what? The picture was horrible!! The color was not clear and I could see all these pixels. It made the dvd I was watching look home made. It did have sound directly built it that sounded ok. Now I am in a funk though. I didn’t realize how much I missed our projector until just now
I think I get more excited than the kids when the holiday catalogs come in the mail. Am I the only adult that does that?
I have completely rubbed off part of the touchpad on my laptop. Isn’t that weird? I only have had it almost 2 years.

We are having a few warm days here and there in Wisconsin. It is freaking me out because then these creepy red and black bug things and ladybugs are everywhere!! It is totally pushing me towards tears. I am actually praying for a good winter freeze.
I am starting to think about remodeling. I want to paint and reorganize and everything. My husband wants to fish, lol.
Kayla has a cough that we can just not get rid of. She has had it since August. We took her to the doctor, they thought it was a virus. But now we are thinking it is some type of allergy. She coughs more around the house. I wonder do we need a humidifier.
