Well Jazz came home today and said those words I thought I was ready to hear. I need money to start taking driving classes at school. It seems like when we were talking about this day coming it was so far away. Really far away. I don’t know what I am more anxious about, Jazz actually driving or the other drivers. I already worry about her constantly when she is out and about it. Can I handle her driving? My heart is just beating fast thinking about it. I am actually thinking who thought it was a good idea for teenagers for teenagers to learn how to drive. Cars are really big when you think about it. I am sure I will get over it because my husband is not worried at all. He is really happy that there will be someone else to run errands around here. But what is so wrong with walking or catching the bus to run errands, lol.
So I am visiting blogs and happen to see this “sweet” giveaway over at Mommy Daddy Blog for an HP Touch Smart 600 computer. I played with one at the store once, it felt so nice. I just love touch screens. I think this would be a great gift for who ever wins it that is why I just had to post about it. Could you imagine winning this, my eyes are glazing over just thinking about it
I don’t plan on going shopping this year on Black Friday. This is the first time we have not planned to go in about ten years. There are so many reasons this year why we are not going. For once I don’t feel like getting up to “try” to get those doorbusters. I am a little tired of the whole great doorbuster but only 3 available deal. Another reason is money. We just don’t want to spend money on something we are not even thinking about “just” because it is on sale. Not this year.
Now I am not knocking those who choose to go shopping on Black Friday.I am in big support of saving money where you can. My own dad is going to try to get him one of those $78 blu ray players at Walmart! I wish everyone good luck on getting that great deal. If you find a really great one, come and share it. I can leave through you
Ok, I am not completely done with my meal shopping yet. I know, I know. My dad actually picked up everything that my grandmother is cooking days ago. I am so last minute. But I do have part of a plan. For Thanksgiving we usually eat at my in laws and I cook a little something. Some ham, dressing, mac and cheese, sweet potatoes, corn, sweet potato pie and chocolate cake. This year I am making:
Spiral Honey Ham
Cornbread Dressing w/ smoked turkey pieces mixed in
Mac and Cheese (three types of cheese)
Sweet Potatoes
Mixed Greens ( I don’t know how to make my own so I use Glory Foods!)
Pumpkin Tarts (tried at Nestle and they were so good)
Chocolate Cake
Apple Pie
Sweet Potato Pie ( I am not sure yet, but I just might make some)
Not too bad ![]()
Cranberry Sauce
Crescent Rolls
