Well I wrote a quick post about what I thought was a really good deal at CSN a $15 off purchase code. Well I placed an order for 2 dinosaur kits for TJ. I had some problems with the code working so I called customer service. Turns out the $15 was only off the product not shipping. But I found something I liked. TJ is a huge dinosaur fan and this was something he has not had yet. So I paid shippping and handling but it was ok. I was pretty happy until I got an email letter later that said:
Hello Latricia,
I am writing to confirm that we have cancelled the following items from your order at CSN Stores:
1) Thames & Kosmos – Stegosaurus Skeleton Science Kit (Qty. 1)
2) Thames & Kosmos – Triceratops Skeleton Science Kit (Qty. 1)
We have had to cancel your order using the CSN Rewards promotional code. Please note the following Terms and Conditions: “Referrer credit may only be redeemed on orders over $50, one per household.” Your new order total is $0.00.You will not be charged for the cancelled items. Please note it may take 2-3 weeks for a pending charge to expire on your account. If you paid with a check or money order, you will receive your refund check in 2-4 weeks.
How disappointing
I do not understand why the customer rep did not mention this when I spoke to him.
