I am not a huge fan of mall shopping. Too many people for me sometimes but I will do it once in a blue moon. On the other hand Jazz loves to shop at the mall. She definitely is taking after me because she gets a kick out of finding bargains (another awww moment for me).
Anyways a few of the malls where will live are starting these new programs where minors 18 and under can not be at the mall after 3 p.m. without an adult 21 years or older.
I do not understand this program. I mean my teen does behave in public and loves to shop. She should be able to go and spend time with her friends. You know eating, going to the movies and shopping. From listening to my daughter and her friends, they spend a lot of money at the malls. There should be a system that is put in place where the kids who do not cause any type of problems can spend time at the mall without their parents. In my case if I have to go, then all four of the kids go too. I don’t think hanging at the mall with all of us every weekend is Jazz’s idea of fun, lol.
What do you think? Are there malls where you live that have this type of policy?

The sad thing is that while YOUR kids are taught to behave, not all of them are and the good ones sometimes end up paying for the others. I don’t think we have any rules like that here but then I avoid malls like the plague.
That is so messed up, Jazz is really upset about the whole thing.
Wow, I didn’t reaize this was happening. My kids are still babies so I wouldn’t even know about these new policies…but you’re right, your kids get punished for the behavior of others.
