It's not the lightest in the world compared to some, still not that heavy, but the battery power is pretty good - depending on all that I am running, I get 3 hours out of it (I'm a multi-tasker... oh, alright, I have ADD on the computer and open way too many things, lol) My last one, a Dell, fell apart way too quickly. I type a LOT, the keys aren't wearing done yet or sticking like the Dell did quickly. I've had this one since October. I have a Toshiba Satellite, and I LOVE it!
