I hate rudeness and I am HUGE on manners. From not only each other but companies as well. Horrible customer service in any form is one of biggest pet peeve. Ask my husband. There are some companies to this day I will never deal with again because of poor customer service I experienced years ago. After all it is my money and I will decided who to spend it with. Anyways, yesterday while at the library I was catching up on Facebook posts and came across a post from Barefoot Mommies thanks to J. Leigh Designz :) Barefoot Mommies is a site I am a huge fan of and to hear of a company treating her badly rubbed me the wrong way. It made me angry and I got even more angry that I could not figure out how to tell people about it on Facebook from my iPod. And I just knew a comment would not be enough for me so I decided to blog about it. Barefoot Mommies contacted Colorado Pen about working with them. Instead of a simple no, she was insulted and told to get a real job. The company apparently thinks it is funny that consumers would take the time out of their day to write them and complain. You have to go check out the post.
I want to help spread the word about this because I talk it when a company does something I like. It only makes sense to also talk about a company does something I do not like.
Even though blogging is fun it is also a lot of work. I am not saying that every company should yes to every blogger that approaches them but …….
A SIMPLE NO WILL DO

Wow, that was really unprofessional of the company to respond like that!
I know, maybe they thought no one would really care.

The person that needs a real job, is the person that handled the call. Employees don’t understand the effects that poor customer service will have on the business they work for. Well, hopefully this will cause awareness to the company’s management department.
You are so right! To me it is so easy to give great customer service. At least it has always came easy to me. I wonder if the company even cares.

That is just CRAZY! I am so sorry that happened to her. I giggled a little from the responses from the company. Someone that RUDE just needs to be laughed at. LOL
See, I gotta love the way you look at it
It is hard to believe someone would actually write such a response!!
