The View Ambassador: Hot Topics and More

Today Whoppi was out and Sherri went to the Oscars last night.  Vanessa Williams was filling in. The first thing this morning was Oscar talk. Can I say Congratulations Mo’Nique? Wooo, hoooo. I have not had a chance to see Precious yet because I want to read the book first. She looked simply beautiful. The flower in her hair and the dress she wore looked nice together. There is a lot of talk about her open marriage. It has been brought more to the forefront since Mo’Nique was nominated for an Oscar.  I think she mentioned this before when she first got married, before the twins were born. Open and marriage are just two words that do not go together in my vocabulary. I felt this way when she first talked about it and I still do.  I was surprised when Elizabeth said she could understand why it would work for Mo’Nique and her husband because of her past to have an open marriage.

The co hosts then talked fashion. When I saw the dress that Charlize Therzon had on, those darn flowers on the chest were not a great choice. It just grabbed my attention, and I did not want it to, lol. I like her as an actress, just not the dress. Demi Moore looked great! Her dress was really pretty. I loved the  fact that Miley Cyrus wore such a beautiful gown. I get so tired of seeing young ladies in such revealing clothes. Queen Latifah looked beautiful as well, I like the one shoulder stap look on her.

Chris Cumou came on the show to talk a little about  Amanda Knox who was convicted of killing her college room mate and given 26 years in a prison in Italy. There was a jailhouse confession over the weekend that may lead into a further investigation of the entire case. He also discussed  Chelsea King who has been missing for 2 weeks, her body was found last week. You can read more here.

MARCH 12– Co- Host Kate Gosselin is back and will join the women and the return of “The View: Fashion Friday” with designer Carolina Herrera.

“I am a participant in a Mom Central campaign for ABC Daytime and will receive a tote bag or other The View branded items to facilitate my review.
