My Mom’s Nite Out

logo

I went to my local Mom’s Nite Out and had a pretty nice time. In my own little way I was so glad to be able to go out and support Maria. There were a limited  number of tote bags and I was lucky enough to get one. It was full of goodies from: Clinique, Lancome, Starbucks, Dove and more.

Even though I went by myself, I mingled and took it all in. I meet some nice and friendly moms and had a good time. There was quite a lot going on. You could get massages, your eyebrows threaded, sample great food, enter raffles for prizes,  listen to music and relax.

Two businesses really stood out to me. The first was Relax & Rejoice. I had the pleasure of briefly speaking with the owner, Tosha Nevels-Fleming. She was professional and warm with a great personality. Relax and Rejoice offers Concierge and Errand services. I was impressed with all the list of services offered which include:

  • Vacation packing/unpacking
  • Cleaning of old and new spaces when you move
  • Exchanges and returns of purchases
  • Grocery shopping with delivery and put away service

Another business that caught my eye was Wildtree Herbs.

Wildtree offers oils, dips, breads, dressings and sauces that are 100% natural. No additives, preservatives, MSG or food dyes. I was able to sample some of the oils and the Rancher’s Rub and Natural Oil tasted really good. I almost wished I had brought my kids because I think they would have liked it as well. After talking with Lelia, I wanted to try more! Healthy eating that is also easy and quick is definitely worth a second look!

I had a good time even though I decided at the last minute to go and check it out. Next year I want to plan my own Mom’s Nite Out.
