Are you updating your GPS?

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of NAVTEQ. All opinions are 100% mine.

I joke that I am taxi with all the running around that I have to do. It probaly does not help that my car is bright yellow just like a taxi. (What can I say, when we bought the car I was feeling all bright and cheery!)  Anyways, between my four kids and errands a lot of days it feels like all I see is the inside of my car. The time spent in my car is multiplied by 10 because I get lost a lot. Nevermind the fact I have lived here all my life.  When I went to my local Mom’s Nite Out, I made a wrong turn and ended up at the airport. And the airport is in opposite direction of my house. Just imagine a frantic call from me to my aunt where I am crying because I am driving past street names that I never heard of before! It is funny now, but it definitely not that night. This is exactly why I am saving up for a GPS. Someone like me should not be allowed to drive without one. Can you imagine all the time I will save? I did not know you have to update an GPS. Once I get mine I am going to be sure to use www.updateyourmap.com. Once the warm weather starts we drive around more and this is the time all the construction is going on around the city. Instead of trying to remember where all the detours are, I will use www.updateyourmap.com to make it easier for me. And my husband. I won’t have to bother him as much, lol.

Yea the only time GPS can backfire is when the vision is going…. For example my parents…. So concentrating on the small screen and driving is scary in my point of view! lol
