Well, we made it through the first day of school. TJ, Kayla and her best friend Christi were the first to leave. Of course not without a few pictures. All of them are going to a new school, but an old principal. She is a great principal that has watched my kids grow up. All three were a little nervous and excited. Everything went pretty good. My friend Shamika (Christie’s Mom) and I are sharing car pooling duties, so she took them the first day.
Nannah was out the door next. She is in 7th grade this year. Her school moved to a new building because it is going up to the 12th grade. It is kind of funny because the new building is where I graduated from high school! Nannah was really happy to go back to school to see all of her friends. The bus did not come. It happens every year so I was not too surprised. She came home happy and excited. There are plans to sign up for all types of activities.
What a nice start to the school year. At least I got the first day right this time!
