I have been hearing about Scentsy for a while and it has been in the back of my mind. See, I am one of those people that loves anything that can make my home smell good. Spray, candle, mist. It doesn’t matter, I like them all. My poor husband. He has a very sensitive nose but puts up with it for me. Just one of the reasons I ♥ him!
Well I noticed one of my favorite people, Amy from Momspark, has become a Scentsy Consultant. She seemed to be happy with it and I value her opinion. A few years ago I learned how to make diaper cakes from her. After finally getting the chance to meet her last year, my thoughts about Amy were confirmed. She is a great person. Anyway I was becoming more curious about Scentsy. How exactly did it work? Is it worth the cost? What about the scents? So I started keeping my eye on status updates from Amy on Facebook. She had a few specials and I waited for the perfect one for me. Then she posted a good one, buy any size warmer and get two Scentsy bars for free. I jumped on that one because it was a great way for me to try it out. I chose a plug in warmer, it was $15. For my 2 free bars I chose Inner Peace and Enchanted Mist. I was tempted to look for a lavender scent because I just love lavender but I really wanted to try something new.
As soon as my package arrived, I quickly tore it open. I love candles and was excited to see what it smelled like. The plug in warmer comes with a light bulb that warms the little Scentsy brick. It melts it to a liquid form and man it smells good. There is a little switch you can push to turn the warmer on and off. I only used one little brick. It was easy to break off and put into the warmer. I love that if I want to change scents all I have to do is pour it into the mold, wipe the warmer off and add a different scent. I can not wait to buy more scents, I really want to try mixing a few together and make it my own.
I am in love with Scentsy!! The bricks are $5 and definitely worth it. When I add up how much I spend on candles that do not last as long, I am saving with Scentsy. The scents are not overwhelming either. I plan to buy some more warmers to put throughout the house.
If you want to try Scentsy, be sure to check out Amy’s site. You should sign up for the newsletter too. That way you will not miss out when a special is going on!
