And I am one of those people. It’s ok because I have come to terms with it. I like to look at beautiful flowers but I had to ask my husband not to buy me any. They do not last very long in my hands and I don’t want him wasting money. I don’t have any plants around the house either. I am thinking the last time I tried to have plants in the house was over 11 years ago. It just did not work out. I tried a few
fake plants but they turned out looking really fake. Kind of defeated the purpose. I wonder if it is time to try it again. Surely things have changed when it comes to artificial plants and
faux flowers. I have been checking out a few:

I am making some major changes to the decor in my home and these fit what I am looking for.
Do you have a green thumb?

My thumb is so brown I can manage to kill a cactus (and I have). We have no plants in our house because the cats would probably just play in the dirt and knock them over. ugh.
I love looking at plants, but terrible at keeping them alive. Make sure to give your plant enough water (too much water WILL drown it, so be careful!) and light. They have life just like humans so it’s an actual fact that stroking the leaves of the plant will keep it alive longer. Sounds silly, but give it a try!

I actually do pretty well with plants. I’ve kept some alive for 10+ years!
I’m the absolute worst with plants. I kill them all, even outside. If I never touch them, water them, or look at them, they might survive. Maybe.
My thumb isn’t too green, but I still love plants and gardening.
Let’s face it, we are not all expert gardeners. We struggle with choosing the right flowers, planting them in the right light location, in the right soil. Even then, many don’t flower and some die from over watering. The good news is that there are plenty of flowers that are easy to grow – even directly from seed! Whether you are a new gardener, a fair-weather yard dabbler, or just want to add some color to the front of your home.
