Bausch + Lomb Biotrue Multi-Purpose Solution Review

I have worn contact lenses on and off for years. I understand how important it is to maintain and properly clean them. Did you know there are quite a few people who use water to clean and soak their contact lenses? Water contains bacteria and microrganisms that can easily cause eye infections. The disinfection of contact lenses is important and water does not do that. This is why you need to use a contact lense solution.

I was recently sent a sample of Bausch + Lomb Biotrue Multi-Purpose Solution to review. I did not have a current prescription for contacts so I enlisted the help of my friend Shamika. She has been wearing contacts for a few years and often complains of itchy eyes.She is a busy mom of two who wears contacts from the moment she gets up until right before bed. Shamika has admitted it is hard to take care of her contacts with all the different bottles for cleaning, rinsing and soaking. When Shamika opened the box she noticed the nice new lens case packed with the solution. This is good because optometrists recommend changing your lens case at least every other month, if not every month. The multi-purpose solution comes in a clear bottle so you are able to keep track of the solution. I used to just do the shake method but this is much better. It would be nice to know you are low and need to get some more instead of finding out in the morning before you start your day.

Immediately after cleaning her lenses with the Bausch + Lomb solution, Shamika noticed the difference. It did not sting at all.  Her eyes did not feel dry or irritated. Throughout the rest of the evening her eyes still felt comfortable.  Shamika has been using the Biotrue Solution for a week now and loves the ease of using it. She says her overall experience has improved.
