Celebrate National Donut Day with Entenmann’s

Entenmann’s bakery product is something I go for when I am in the mood for treat. For as long as I can remember, whenever I ask my husband to grab something sweet from the store, he brings home something in Entenmann’s packaging. I am having a hard time trying to pick my favorite. The Lemon Crunch Cake is always a big hit in our house and the mini chocolate chip cookies are pretty good too. The kids love to grab a bag of the Little Bites muffins, I like the brownies. You can never go wrong with donuts though. We like them all from the Chocolate Lover’s variety pack to the Glazed Pop’ems.

I was happy to hear that Entenmann’s has partnered with The Salvation Army to help spread the word about National Donut Day. During WWI, Salvation Army volunteers served donuts to the troops. The Salvation Army is credited with popularizing the donut in the US through this simple act of comfort and service. We can all help those who served our country and their families by helping Entenmann’s raise money for the Salvation Army. Until June 3, 2011, Entenmann’s will donate $1 (up to $10,000) for every Facebook “LIKE”.
