Novica Review

I have really come to appreciate products that are different. When I was first introduced to the company Novica, that is what stood out to me. I visited the website and found so many things that I have never seen before. It was hard to choose because everything has a story and has such beautiful colors. Novica sells items for home decor, jewelry and paintings. They work with National Geographic to give talented artisans world wide a place to express their artistic talents and provide access to the world market.

We want to give artists and artisans around the world a global platform to express their true artistic talents and to spur their creativity. And, we want to provide you with access to unique, hard-to-find items at great values that only the Internet infrastructure can allow. At the deepest essence of our philosophy, we want to create a bridge between you and the many talented artisans across the globe. We want you to know about who you’re buying from. We want you to feel that attachment to the product and to the hands that created it.

I was finally able to choose three products to review. The first was a pair of lacquered wood boxes, “ Ruby Scintillation”. The artist who hand crafted these is Nantanta Sompamitre. The intricate designs on the top and sides of the box are beautiful. They can be used to store small things like maybe rings or earrings. The boxes are very pretty when displayed and sparkle a little.

The second item I reviewed is a Celadon ceramic condiment set called “Elephant Spice”. Designed by Thatsanee and Ramphan, it is olive in color and comes in four pieces. There are salt and pepper shakes, a cup for toothpicks and a flat dish to hold everything. The pieces are really unique, I am really feeling the crackle effect. It is almost to pretty to use.

The third item item I reviewed was a set of four Celadon ceramic plates, “Orchids”. Duangkamol designed these beautiful plates in four different colors. Each plate has a fishnet design that adds to the uniqueness. The glazing technique uses really make each plate stand on its on.

I see Novica as a place I would shop at for myself as well as family and friends. I personally love to give gifts that fits someone’s personality, yet may be something they would not get for themselves. Searching through the website I easily found gifts I would like to get a few people. Silk scarves for my mother in law or Silver Charm Bracelets for Jazz.

My entire experience with Novica went smoothly from purchasing to delivery. The site is set up in such a way, I was able to use it with ease. I especially enjoyed the unique gifts section. It was simple to search by price or category.
