Bausch and Lomb Test Drive Part 2

logo

Jazz was a little nervous before the appointment. She was not sure what to expect.

When I went in the room with the doctor, they had me do a color test to make sure I could tell the difference between different colors. I also had to say the numbers that were camouflaged in the colors. The doctor puffed some air into my eye. I also took a test for my peripheral vision, there were flashing lights.

Before Jazz would be able to pick up her contact lenses she had to take a class. She learned how to handle her lenses and put them in. I liked that it was not just a quick lesson. The staff was very patient with Jazz and made sure she was comfortable with putting the contacts in. She also learned how to take them out, clean them and dispose of them. Jazz was not able to get them in right away, she has a problem with the contact lenses folding. After putting the contacts in Jazz said she could not even feel them in her eyes. That was one her fears.

I think the Soflens disposable contacts are a great choice for teens who are trying contacts for the first time. They are easy to use and are good if you happen to accidently rip or tear your lense. Jazz is very happy with them. The transition from wearing glasses to contacts worked out pretty good for her.I was worried for nothing. She can see clearly without having to wear glasses and she likes how she looks with contacts. She is already talking about she is ready to try different colors, lol.

Now Savannah wants contacts. When I feel she is ready, maybe around next year, we will go with Soflens again. Savannah absolutely hates her glasses so I know this will make her happy.

I wrote this review while participating in a Test Drive by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Bausch + Lomb and received Soflens daily disposables to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.

I tried contact when I was in high school and had them for awhile, but decided I liked wearing glasses better. Plus, I had to have really expensive harder lenses because of my astigmatism and prescription. I am glad she likes hers and hope they give her an extra boost of confidence!

I started wearing contacts at 10, because my vision was bad and the lenses for glasses were so thick. They are great!

My 18 year old tried contacts twice, and she just couldn’t wear them. Her eyes would not stop watering. She was so disappointed.
