Friday my baby turned 8! She was beyond excited and started her countdown around 7:30 last night. She was so excited she could not even go to sleep until after 12pm. She just kept saying she could not believe she was going to be 8 years old. It was so cute

We took her to Stonefire Pizza Company where she was able to have all you can eat ice cream, pizza, soda, macaroni and cheese, spaghetti, ribs, peaches, honey dew melon, pineapples, chicken nuggets and more. Plus the kids were able to bowl, play air hockey and some other games. Man did they get a lot of tickets, lol.

We just had to get Kayla this adorable “Birthday Princess” sash and flashing light tiara from Walmart. Her face just let up whenever anyone noticed and wished her a Happy Birthday at Stonefire.

I was not feeling well and was not able to make cupcakes like I wanted to but the ones we grabbed at Walmart made her just as happy. All the kids really loved them, so I am happy about that.

I want to wish my little princess a very Happy Birthday. I love her so much and hope she enjoyed her special day

I decided to take my wonderful Husband to Famous Dave’s for his birthday. I got a certificate for a free entree when you buy one from their fan page. He ordered the Baby Back and Meat BBQ Combo. My husband loves rib tips so he was very happy with his dinner. I ordered their U.S. of BBQ Platter.It came with spareribs, chopped pork and beef brisket or Sirloin Tri-Tip. I ordered the Tri-Tip because I never had it before. It turns out the Tri-Tip is served rare. Luckily some customers sitting behind us were told this. I hurried up and changed my order to brisket because I can not eat rare meat! It would have spoiled my meal if it would have made it to our table! 

My husband was full and happy When we came back home from dinner, the kids suprised him with a cake they made. Of course it was delicious!

To my husband and brother in law. Yep they are twins. Both have hearts of gold,  are thoughtful, kind, caring and funny. Yet unique in their own special way.

Well my little mini me turned 12 Friday. I am still not believing it. Nannah will be officially a teen next year. She is so counting down the days. She “thinks” she will be dating then, lol. I still see her as the little baby who loved to hug constantly and wanted to be around me all the time. It is hard to see her growing up. Before I know it she will be off to college.

I baked her some cupcakes and we all decorated them for her. TJ and Kayla came up with the ideas to put sprinkles on them 

The birthday candles we put on the cupcakes burnt faster than I have ever seen!

She was so happy! She was surprised that I found her an Eeyore bag. She loves him! We also got her some butterfly earrings, some clothes and a digital camera. Nannah is turning into quite the little photographer. I can not wait to see what the world through her eyes We had a great time celebrating with her.

I just had to write a post with a little birthday shout out to Jayden. He turns 2 today!! I can still remember reading the post when Sheena was in labor. I even had the chance to meet Boogie at Disney World last year. He is just the sweetest. And I can honestly say he is just as adorable in person as he is in pictures. You have to stop by Sophistishe and check out a few of the pictures Sheena put up. Jayden looks so handsome in his big boy shirt! I can’t wait to see the rest of the party pictures.

HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY JAYDEN!!

Well my baby has turned 16. This is where all the crying starts, lol. I feel like I am saying this a lot lately but time is going by way too fast. I mean it seems like it was literally yesterday I was bring her home from the hospital. My little princess. It may sound unrealistic but at the point and time, I really could not even fathom that she would grow up. Maybe I was just praying I would not break her, lol.

The moment I saw her I knew. I knew I wanted better for her. I never wanted her to feel unwanted, not special, not important. She would never be a disappointment. I would encourage her to reach for her dreams and never give up. My first daughter will always know how beautiful and smart she is.

Throughout these 16 years she has grown into such a beautiful person. Inside and out. She is kind, creative, hard working, intelligent, caring and mine.

Happy Birthday Jazz I Love You more than you will ever know!

I decided to go with a small little get together with just the immediate family. The other kids were out of school so we spent all day decorating and cooking. This proved to be quite a challenge because my oven is broke and we used a small countertop oven. Hey you gotta learn how to improvise! It worked out great because made mini cheesecakes, cupcakes and cakes. We took a quick trip to Walmart and bought some cookies, salsa and chips,plus her favorite candy. Laffy Taffy While there we found the coolest Tinkerbell decorations. Jazz is one of the biggest Tinkerbell fans ever so I just had to grab it. I found a huge balloon and wall coverings for her. (The best part is she can re use the wall coverings to decorate her room!)

Came out pretty yummy considering: we filled the muffin pans, realized they would not fit in counter top oven and how to squeeze into a much smaller baking pan,lol

It was a great day. It was not huge and fancy like the Sweet 16 parties you see on t.v. I am a stay at home mom with four kids and that is no where near my budget. But I can tell you this, it was full of love and laughs!

I want to give a big hug and thanks to my helpers. They helped blow up balloons, set up, decorate, cook, clean up and everything in between
