Yep, my site is now green. Thanks to Online Leaf when you visit my blog you will not waste energy. It pretty much puts your site into energy saving mode after a few minutes of inactivity.   Since I use WordPress I just installed a plugin and it was ready to go.  So far I have not had any problems.

I always appreciate a good laugh so I love to share when I come across something that makes me smile. Yesterday I came across a site called AmyOops. After dropping my Entrecard, I started looking around her site and saw this post.

Since this blog is finally working (hopefully)I am in a giving mood. Leave a comment introducing yourself, be sure to leave a link back to your site, and you get 50 entrecredits free ASAP. Well, I thought my blogs would be moving but it just ain’t so. I stumbled across one problem after another so maybe another time. So for now everything is staying as is.

Entrecard is implementing a few changes which I hope are for the better. There is now an option to buy credits on your dashboard. That may be good news for some people. But the following changes are the ones that caught my eye:

1. You can earn credits by writing for the Entrecard blog.
2. Once every three days you earn 25 credits for every time you post to your blog. You don’t have to do anything Entrecard takes care of everything.
3. By subscribing to the Entrecard blog you get a one time credit of 50 EC!

If you are not a member of Entrecard already head on over and jump on the bandwagon. You can get free advertising and discover some new sites in the process.

A week or so ago I wrote a post about my new favorite popcorn,Orville Redenbacher’s Buttery Salt and Cracked Pepper. Well I am very happy that I came across a popcorn giveaway while Entrecard dropping. The Healthy Moms are having a Orville Redenbacher Healthy Snack Giveaway. They are giving away 2 popcorn bowls and popcorn and ten sample packs to lucky winners. One of the giveaway rules is to answer a question on your blog from the list posted at The Healthy Moms. The question I chose is “When do you enjoy popcorn”? Well I can honestly say popcorn is my number one snack choice. It is a quick snack that I eat a lot of. I eat it when I am surfing the web, watching a movie with the kids during movie night and as a late night snack. If you read my earlier post you will see that I didn’t even know the Orville Rendenbacher popcorn I was eating was healthy!! It tastes just like regular popcorn.

While dropping some Entrecards today I came across a giveaway at BrainFoggles. It caught my attention because in my eyes it is the “normal” giveaway. The giveaway is for a WordPress blog with the works. You get hosting for a year, tech support, your choice of theme and complete set up of the blog with plugins. You even get a customized header! Being a newbie I am crossing my fingers and toes for this one. I could use the help. The giveaway is easy to enter so head on over to Brain Foggles before May 30th and put your comments in!
