Today there is a free Science Fair Demo being held at Micheal’s. It is being held from 10 a.m. until noon. All kids 3 years of age and up are welcome. This would be great to check out because you can never have too many ideas when it comes to science fairs. Before you go visit the website and print your coupon for 40% off.

I love to look at photographs. Even more so since I got my new camera. I came across this site  called DP Shots. One post really caught my attention, “70 Photos That Will Take Your Breath Away“. One photo of a cat on a balcony rail with the city lights in the background was really beautiful. I like the shot of the fireworks too. I can’t wait until summer and I take some picture of fireworks myself. I really wish I could get a few shots of the ones at Disney World, those are my favorite.  I like this site, lots of inspiration.

The Creative Junkie is a really great blog to read. This past week she wrote a post about a survival kit that she made andwhat she happened to find in it a few years later.  In true Creative Junkie fashion, this post will make you laugh and think. Be prepared to be over there a while. Once you start looking around, you will definitely find lots more to read.

The Italian Dish Blog. Full of pictures and recipes that make you want to get up and cook. There is a recipe for Rack of pork stuffed with apple and herbs that I just have to try. This is something I would not normally make, but with the step by step instructions and pictures, it looks like something even I can do. There is even a recipe for how to make your own vanilla extract. I did not know that you can do that!

Sherri Shepherd announced that she will be co hosting the official Oscar Red Carpet pre-show. I don’t usually watch that, but I will be checking in to see what off the wall stuff Sherri just might say. Plus I want to check out her hair!!

• March 3:  This show will feature the best of “View Tube,” including backstage antics and celebrity exit interviews. Lisa Kudrow of “Who Do You Think You Are” will be joining the hosts as well.

• March 4:  Celebrity guest co-host Valerie Bertinelli, former Oscar nominee Abigail Breslin from Broadway’s “The Miracle Worker,” Mia Wasikowska from Disney’s “Alice in Wonderland,” and a musical performance from Broadway’s “Fela” will be featured on this jam-packed episode.

• March 5:  The View’s “Road to the Oscars” episode welcomes former Oscar nominee Don Cheadle and Wesley Snipes and “Fashion Friday” celebrates “The History of Oscar Fashions” with a two-part look back at some of the most memorable – and perhaps forgettable – Oscar hits and misses, with host and celebrity stylist Robert Verdi. Hosts of “At the Movies” Michael Phillips and Tony Scott will also be on set to unveil their 2010 Oscar predictions.

If you are looking to get in shape Toni over at Totally Toni is having a giveaway for the Wii Your Shape Workout game. I wasn’t sure if I heard about this one until I took a good look at the box.Now I remember seeing the commercial for it. I would love to have this because it has a camera and you don’t have to use a controller!

I just downloaded two free games on my iPod. Toddler Tweets and Valet Hero. Toddler Tweets is an app that lets your little one play a few games:

• make a train go across the screen
• help flowers boom
• pop balloons
• listen to the birds tweet
• grow apples on a tree

And all with a simple touch on the screen. Parents can use it too, it connects to twitter and facebook. I figured why not download it. It is free for Valentine’s Day Valet Hero is a parking game. These cars come from either side of the screen and you have to make a path for the car to follow so they will be parking. You earn money for the way you park the car and for parking in a space that matches the car color. If you crash your car the game is over. We are having fun with this one!

Last year my niece and I had the chance to review a giraffe from Zoobies. We fell in love with it and I just found out that that Zoobies is going to be coming out with three new pets, Poco the Pup™, Patch the Pony™, and Furbie the Feline™. These pets are wonderful gift ideas because it is a blanket, stuffed animal and pillow. I can’t wait until my nephew is a little older because I am going to get him one and probaly one for myself too, lol.

Contains spoilers! Don’t read if you have not watched the first episode!!

It is about time CBS decided to have the good guys against the bad guys. Even though as soon as I heard about this I immediately thought of the Inferno 2 Real World Road Rules Challenge, lol. But hey if it works, it works.  My husband and I are big fans of Survivor and love analyzing all of the game play decisions. It can get pretty interesting because we have our different players we are rooting for the win and of course I think I am always right!

So for this season there are the Villains:

I can understand bringing back Russell (he deserved to win last season, he played the best I have seen ever!) , Boston Rob ( I just love to hate him), Jerri and Parvati. Tyson, Randy and Courtney did not stand out in my mind. I don’t think Coach was really a villain, I just think he was crazy! He is already getting on my nerves. The sucking up to Boston Rob and constantly talking about how he beat Colby. He kept talking about it like he really did something. I don’t know he just rubs me the wrong way. Oh and we just loved the part where Randy actually said ” You can’t make a fire by rubbing two sticks together”. Huh!?!?! Did he really say this on Survivor?

It is nice to see Rupert again. I actually voted for him to win the million dollars when the viewers got to pick our favorite. But this time I think his ego may bring the team down. He was obsessed with being the one to make fire and broke the flint. I do feel bad he broke his toe though.

It is obvious that James should be a hero. He is one of my favorites even though he messed up that time and got voted off when he had two idols in his pockets! Plus I love the fact that he is such a genuine hard worker.

I was surprised to see Cirie. Not in a bad way, she was able to make her way through past games by outwitting a lot of players. She is on my list of people who I wanted to win. I just hope she can make it through this time.

Another person I was beyond happy to see was Stefenie. That girl is good! She is a strong player and proved it right away when she dislocated her shoulder on the first episode this season.  That was a sign right there that this is going to be a touch season and I can see a lot of people getting hurt. I always felt bad that she did not win on previous seasons. She had outlasted her entire tribe. She managed to remain  competitive even though her tribe lost every immunity challenge. I think I would have just broken down. It was so sad when the show sent her back to her camp all by herself.

This was a great two hour premiere even though the Heroes really messed up on the puzzle and blew their lead. They should have just let two people work on it. My husband says he thinks Sugar could have solved it. I am not sure. I am glad she got voted off, honestly this is not the time to cry and show weakness. Plus I did not see what she could bring to the tribe. I was scared for a minute because I thought they were going to vote off Cirie. The previews for next week show Boston Rob passing out. I am thinking maybe he is dehydrated or something. We will see.

My sister in law and niece have totally got me hooked on Cafe World. I am even dreaming about it. Trying to remember what dish should be almost ready.

I can’t believe I have finally taken the plunge into Facebook. I am still learning though. I think the games have a lot to do with it, you know how obsessed with games I am! But for the life of me I can not figure out Mafia Wars!! It is so frustrating. I am on level 17 and my mafia is just me. I have no idea how to join other mafias or get people to join me. I want to fight, but apparently you need a few more people in your mafia. I feel pathetic, lol

I am in a little funk because I forgot all about the Consumer Electronics Show I should so be there. I need to be there. I love everything electronic related. I can picture myself just drooling in the presence of the electronic goodness. Maybe next year.

It seems like my laptop is running slower. Pretty annoying. Wish I had a netbook or laptop that could handle all the stuff I like to do.

TJ’s birthday is Monday. He will be 10. Thinking about putting together some animal or dinosaur theme party. Hmmm.

Jazz is talking about her sweet 16 which is in March. I have no clue what to do. I have never had one or been to one.

I am so ready to do some redecorating in the house. I think I should start with the living room. New curtains, paint  and slipcovers. Comfy and easy to keep clean is at the top of my list. Maybe rearrange the furniture.
