Today I just felt the need to write this post. You know I really love blogging. When truly sit down and think about it my heart feels good. Blogging has made such a difference in my life. I mean, I don’t think I can even describe it or measure it.

I have always been very, very shy. To the point where I developed social anxiety so bad I could not leave my house without having a panic attack. I am talking about heart beating fast, nervousness, mind racing, shaking and crying. It does not help that I suffer from depression too. Some days are really great and some are really, really bad. Then I started blogging. It became an outlet to express myself.  Then people started leaving comments and I started to make friends. People who were kind and thoughtful. It is all so amazing to me. I began to feel like I mattered and I had a voice. It was actually ok to be me. Ok, now I am starting to cry, lol. It just means so much. I never felt worthy of having friends or having someone care about me. My blogging friends make me feel that way. Yep I say friends. Even those I have never met face to face. To me they mean the world I can’t wait to share something new that happened with them or vent to them. Sometimes just visit them, even if it is through their blogs, lol. I am a big time lurker! They are a part of my life whether they know it all not.

Blogging is so great! I am learning so much about myself. It might just sound strange but it is so true. I would have never thought this year would have changed me so much. Now my anxiety and depression is still there but I am definitely learning how to deal with it and stepping out of my box. I am learning everyday it ok:

• to be me
•  say no sometimes
•  not be super mom
• not be perfect
•  be happy
• love life
• make mistakes
• make friends
• continue to learn and grow
• to share

So I just want to say thanks to my friends, who I love in my own little way. I wanted to list names but I did not want to forget anyone. Thank you to everyone who has ever sent a kind word or hug or any type of support my way.

I love it when I come across some great blogs and it gets even better when I get the chance to meet that person in real life. I wanted to start this little thing called Meet My Friend Spotlight. I hoping it will be a fun way to give love to some really great bloggers.

I was able to meet Liz in person at the Nestle Blogger Event I attended. She is an such a great person. First of all she is so nice and friendly. I just fell in love with her when I heard her snort, lol. It is so cute, if something is really funny she snorts when she laughs! I just love it. I honestly believe once you visit This Full House you will fall in love with Liz too. She is just so real and honest. The posts Completely Honest  and Don’t Sweat the Dirty Laundry are proof of this. Liz has a sock basket just like we do! She has this page on her blog which gives a virtual tour of her house. Would a great idea and I feel like I know her even more.

We have a projector that we bought a few years ago for movie night. We have a screen and everything. I think it is cheaper than a regular tv and we love it. Unfortunately the bulb blew last summer and I have been debating getting it replaced. It costs like $200 and up. So my dad calls me on Sunday and tells me Kohl’s has a projector for $88 regular price $199. I am thinking it may just be too cheap. But my husband goes and gets it and guess what? The picture was horrible!! The color was not clear and I could see all these pixels. It made the dvd I was watching look home made. It did have sound directly built it that sounded ok. Now I am in a funk though. I didn’t realize how much I missed our projector until just now

I think I get more excited than the kids when the holiday catalogs come in the mail. Am I the only adult that does that?

I have completely rubbed off  part of the touchpad on my laptop. Isn’t that weird? I only have had it almost 2 years.

We are having a few warm days here and there in Wisconsin. It is freaking me out because then these creepy red and black bug things and ladybugs are everywhere!! It is totally pushing me towards tears. I am actually praying for a good winter freeze.

I am starting to think about remodeling. I want to paint and reorganize and everything. My husband wants to fish, lol.

Kayla has a cough that we can just not get rid of.  She has had it since August. We took her to the doctor, they thought it was a virus. But now we are thinking it is some type of allergy. She coughs more around the house. I wonder do we need a humidifier.

Saturday was movie night for me, hubby and TJ. We let TJ pick so our movie of the night was Transformers 2.  I was pretty excited. My younger brothers played with transformers when they were little. The whole family went to see the first one. I thought it it was ok. So I was ready for part 2.  But I was not ready for the swear words and inappropiate scenes.  I am not talking a bad word here or maybe there. The Transformers were actually cussing, alot. There were dogs humping and quite a few other scences that I just did not feel comfortable watching with my nine year old son.  I don’t know. I think I expected the movie to be a little more “clean”. I mean kids and Transformers do go together.  Now don’t get me wrong, I actually enjoyed the movie. It was funny and had some great action. I just wish it was a little more clean. Then I realized that I never bothered to even check the rating. I seriously was thinking , Transfomers=safe.  I just wanted to share what I thought about  our movie experience.  I think Transformers 2 is a good movie but just not appropiate for kids.

Ok, I like to enter giveaways. A lot of them. But I noticed today i was trying to sign up for something and put my email in and the form would not accept it. I could not figure out for the life of me what could possibly be wrong. I know my email is valid, I use it all the time. Then I really looked at it. I wrote it like this

It basically is an site where you can find intructions on how to do things. You can find pretty much a little bit of everything. I thought it was pretty interesting. I found this great instructable on how to make your own Valentine. It looks easy enough for even me!

Well guess who has 4 teeth! Yep my niece has 2 at the bottom and 2 on top. And let me tell you those little suckers hurt! But she looks so adorable I can’t even get mad at her. She is at the stage where when she hears any type of packaging she thinks it is food so she want to eat! It is so funny. She will be in the middle of playing and then she quickly turns her head to whine for some food. She is also trying to scoot a little. I just know we are going to turn around one day and she will be moving.
