Talking with Kayla, I find that she has some pretty interesting conversations at school. Her friends were trying to figure out exactly why do hospitals give you jello. One of her friends says it wasn’t very good. We love to eat jello, especially red , I mean strawberry. Apparently her teacher said Kayla can help clean out her garage. Kayla is actually pretty excited. Now that makes me wonder “Why is it not exciting to clean our garage? Or better yet, her room?

I have another birthday to celebrate Friday. Nannah is turning 12 and no I have not made any plans yet. I am still letting my ideas marinate, lol.  But I do have her gifts, I bought them last month *patting myself on the back*. I am hung up on the cake. I would like to something like we did for Kayla’s birthday last year.

We found the recipe for this adorable Purse Cake over at Parenting.com  Nannah loves butterflies and there is a  really cute one I could make for her. I am on this big cake kick ever since I saw the Cricut Cake in action. I think I need it because I can make a cake for so many different occassions.

But since my husband will not let me get one, I am trying to convince that if I buy some fondant he can cut some letters and shapes for me

She is a great mom to the lovable Boogie who is almost 2. I just love her. Sheena is really sweet and honest.She helps me to look at things differently She writes very well and takes great pictures to0.

This is another great site that I visit every day. You will find great giveaways, product reviews, and posts about what goes on in her daily life. You will even see some great information you can use.

Did anyone see Amazing Race on Sunday? I think it is beyond great that Jordan and Jeff from Big Brother are on there. They are such a cute couple plus Jordan just cracks me up, lol. This episode was quite funny. Let’s see we have the couple that could not read instructions and did not take the ride on the funicular to go down the hill. They were supposed to be in second place but got a penalty and had to wait at check in for thirty minutes. Then there were the brothers who lost their paint brush while looking for the house to paint. But the funniest part of the show was the dad and daughter who actually thought you were supposed to paint the inside of someone’s house not the outside. They went inside of someone’s house, saw red paint on the wall and finished painting. I could not stop laughing. Especially they were trying to ask the man inside did he have a card for them, lol.

I added something new to 1stopmom that I wanted to try out. If you look on the left hand side there is this little thing called Stickr. It allows you to leave a comment on a site, subcribe to the feeds of people you like, stuff like that. I am hoping it will be easy to use. We will see.

Thanks to my friend Sheena, I have been using Google Chrome a little more. I had it installed before but did not use it. It never came into my head that there would be extensions I could use. Sheena recommended a few to use and I found some of my own.

I got my after Valentine’s Day candy and can I just say it was yummy? I kid you not, half price candy always tastes great to me, lol.

I was thinking it would be so cool if someone could dress me and do my makeup for some pictures. I don’t know what looks good on me and am willing to admit I need help, lol. Maybe one day.

I am Harriet has plenty of interesting posts to read and I have been a fan for quite a while.

I recently discovered Frugal Reality but I like it a lot. I have found some pretty good deals over there.

I think I am suffering from cabin fever. This is so funny to me because I am not a huge fan of outside and have a constant fear of bugs flying or crawling on me. Everything freaks me out. I have even started to imagine going fishing with my husband and I can not think of anything more boring than fishing!

I like to watch stand up comedy but I feel really uncomfortable if the comic is not funny. I don’t know why I feel so embarrassed for them.

I was watching t.v on dvr and could not find the remote so I could not fast forward through the commericials. It just so happens a few popped up that made me smile. Of course I had to find them on youtube to share with you guys

I still think my kids school is cheating us of lunch money. We keep sending money and yet they send notes home saying we have a balance. It has been going on for years and I really think it is a conspiracy, lol. It’s just not me either. My husband agrees too.

Toni from Just Stop Screaming wrote a wonderful post called Are you an example for your children and a letter to mine. Really got me to thinking. That’s why I love her.  And I am not just saying that because we have fun when we get together and I miss her and want to go hang out with her.

Last week I cut my hair. Really, really short. I don’t regret it or anything. It actually feels really nice. 99% sure my husband doesn’t like it.  The way I see it, I express myself through my hair. I always have. I like to wear different styles and colors which makes wigs perfect for me. But I needed a change. So I want to try going natural. Let’s see what happens. But I am still going to wear my wigs!  Hey I like them.

My laptop is acting funny again. Almost like it can not handle all the stuff I do on a daily basis. I like to have a million windows opens and just as many programs I guess I need to start looking for something new. Any suggestions?

I am really having fun on Facebook. Who knew? It is quite addicting. Just need more people in my Mob.

Oh yeah, still have not starting planning Jazz’s sweet 16. Better get on the ball.
