I have mentioned before how my kids have always loved fruits and vegetables. When they were little I feed them lots of both. My youngest is 15 and my oldest is 23 and they still like to eat vegetables and fruit. Now that I have a granddaughter, I find myself trying to balance out the treats with healthy food, especially vegetables.
Leilani is two and she has learned to say no when she doesn’t want certain things, especially food. Well actually she says “No Thank you” if she doesn’t want something or to do something you ask and I think it just so adorable!
Leilani is really into dipping her food lately. She goes back and forth from eating the food or just licking the dip off. Of course I am a little concerned because ranch dressing and other dips have ingredients that include vegetable oil, sugar, xanthan gum and other things I can’t even pronounce.
