My kids and I love smoothies. We like to drink them as much as possible. The great thing about smoothies is that you can do so much with flavors you can easily please everyone. With St. Patrick’s Day coming up, I wanted to share this recipe for a Green Pistachio Smoothie from Certified Nutritional Health Counselor and founder of Hands on Healthy, Sara Siskind.
Green Pistachio Smoothie
1 1/2 cups unsweetened almond milk
1/4 cup Setton Farms Pistachios
2 handfuls baby spinach
1 banana (frozen is best)
2 Pistachio Chewy Bites chopped into small pieces
ice as needed
Place all ingredients except the Pistachio Chewy Bite into a high power blender. Blend until creamy. Pour into 2 glasses. Served topped with chopped Pistachio Chewy Bites.
