Kids love to create. A few pieces of paper and something to color with and before you know it, your little one has created a masterpiece! Crayons are fun but kids love to work with paint. It can make a picture vibrant and really stand out.

Usually when your kids want to paint you have to take steps to prepare a space for them to get creative. You need to lay down paper or plastic so it doesn’t get all over your floor and furniture, a smock to protect your child and their clothes, paint, brushes and water cups.

The Pencil Grip has created a product that allows your child to paint and create with no mess. Kwik Stix are solid tempera paint sticks. These non-toxic sticks can be easily used on paper, posters, wood and canvas.

kwik stix reviewThere is no need for cups, smocks or brushes. Kid just uncap, twist and paint!  You don’t even need water. The Kwik Stix resemble stubby markers and look like a crayon. There is no scent and the paint dries within 90 seconds.

I like how easily these paint sticks glide on paper. Since the paint dries so quickly there is no need to worry about streaking or paint transferring. They are easy to travel with too. Bring something to paint on and you are ready to go!

Kwik Stix will make a a great gift, especially if you add some construction paper or canvas board. Just wrap it up and you have a little art kit!

Buy Kwik Stix paint sticks at Amazon. There are three sizes available: 6 pack for $13.84, 12 pack for $11.95 or 96 classroom pack. For ages 3 and up.
