My Morning Latte Makes My Breakfast Better #lattelove Giveaway

I am a creature of habit who loves to read. Reading blogs gives me a connection to friends (online and in-real life) that I find comforting. When I turn on my laptop or iPad I want to see what is going on in their lives. It doesn’t matter what the subject is:sharing a new recipe, pregnancy updates, new pictures of the kids or their opinion on current news.

I always feel like I am catching up with a friend. Now most days I do that with a warm latte in my hand. I just love the different content and stories. It is the perfect way to start my morning.

I read a lot of blogs but there are a few special ones on my #lattelove reading list:

I had the pleasure of co-hosting a #LatteLove Twitter Party on October 4th and learned a lot. I have been doing this latte thing all wrong. Usually I am partial to drinking anything with chocolate, like a chocolate mocha. A few weeks ago I tried and fell in love with the flavor of a Vanilla Latte. Ah man, talk about delicious. I savored every drop.>But that is only the beginning. You can flavor a latte with all types of  products, spices (cinnamon, nutmeg), flavored syrup ( salted caramel, honey vanilla) or even chocolate shavings!  I had no idea of just how far I could go with personalizing the flavor of my latte at home.
The Breakfast Project website is full of information about drinking more milk, tips and recipes. Did you know you know that 50% of most milk is consumed at breakfast? I am not a fan of drinking just plain milk, but I had no idea I was getting milk from my latte. I like that the website offers different recipes for ways to incorporate milk into your diet. I found recipes for banana shakes, cornmeal griddlecakes with blueberries and lattes.
Yep you can make lattes at home. Saving and time and money is one of my favorite past times so this is right up my alley.  The Breakfast Project even has a cute little video to show you how.

I think one of the recipes I want to try is the Latte Love. There are five simple ingredients including chocolate syrup, ice, milk, coffee/espresso and peppermint syrup. Check out the recipe over at The Breakfast Project.
I am happy to offer my readers a chance to win a Latte At Home Care Package. It includes a mug and coupon for free milk.
