    This is a sponsored post

Now that fall is officially here, not only is the weather getting cooler, but inside the air is getting drier. This can mean dry skin and eyes, chapped lips, nose bleeds and congestion. I know I tend to get more stuffy noses and sore throats once Winter hits Wisconsin. The best way to deal with any of these ailments is to get moisture back the air with a humidifier. If you are interested in a safe and eco friendly solution, a Rumidifier may be exactly what you are looking for.

    The Amazon Fire TV shows off your photos, just ask Alexa {Giveaway}

Thanks to Amazon for sponsoring this post.

Did you know you can use your Amazon Fire TV Stick with Alexa Voice for more than binge watching on your favorite show? Right now I am loving that I can watch some of my favorite 90’s television series like Hanging With Mister Cooper and Family Matters. Gone are the days of passing your phone or tablet around to show family and friends your favorite pictures. Now you can see those photos and play a slideshow easily by just asking Alexa.

    How Does It All Work?

First you need an Amazon Fire TV Stick.  I love how easy it is to set up.  I plugged it into one the HDMI ports on the side of my television. I put the included batteries into the remote and paired it with the Amazon Fire TV Stick. Then I added my WiFi information. If you get it from somewhere other Amazon or as a gift you will have to register it with your Amazon information. It does not take long to set up at all. I really like how it shows a short video of how to get the most out of your Amazon Fire TV Stick and the Alexa Voice Remote while it sets up.

You can use the Alexa Voice Remote to search for movies and t.v. shows, play music and see your photos with Prime Photos. Simply hold down the microphone button, then say a command, like “Show my photos.” You can even specify by date, or by the name of an album you created in your Prime Photos account.

Prime Photos Voice Launch On Fire TV

Amazon customers can view and search for their photos and photo albums with the Alexa Voice Remote and the Prime Photos app on their Amazon Fire TV (limited to US Amazon customers). Prime members can also search for people, places, and things, with phrases like, “show photos of dogs,” “show photos of Wyoming,” or “show photos of Jane.”

This is a great addition to what you can already do with Prime Photos on your Amazon Fire TV. Check out more ways to use the Prime Photos Fire TV app , hint: you can even change your screensaver. If that wasn’t enough, Prime members get unlimited photo storage, as well as 5 GB digital storage for other files and videos. Non-Prime members, get 5 GB free digital storage for files, videos, and photos. Now, you can relax on your living room couch and flip through your photos and personal videos on the biggest screen in your home using your Alexa Voice Remote.

I have already been putting it to good use. I simply say show my photos from June 12, 2017  and all the pictures from our first family trip to Disney World are right there for everyone to see. I love not having to search through thousands of pictures for the ones I want to look at. Using the Alexa Voice Remote makes it so easy.

Prime Photos helps keep your photos right at your fingertips, wherever you are. Keep your photos safe while you free up space on your devices when you save your photos online with the free app . This has been very handy for me. I have it set to automatically save every picture I take or upload.  I never have to worry about accidentally deleting an important picture. Plus how can you not love unlimited photo storage?

Like Amazon Fire TV, the Echo Show can showcase all the photos in your Prime Photos account, with voice commands like, “Alexa, show my photos.” In fact, all the same commands work with Echo Show – just add “Alexa” to the beginning of each one.

Bring Home Despicable Me 3 Special Edition In November

The post is in partnership with Universal Pictures Home Entertainment

As much as I love watching movies in theaters, I look forward to when I can add my favorites to my home movie collection. We are those people that like to watch all the extras that you can see at home.  I am pretty happy that Despicable Me 3 Special Edition will be available on Digital November 21, 2017. Everyone in my family loves all the Despicable Me 3 characters Gru; his wife Lucy; their three adorable daughters—Margo, Edith and Agnes—and of course the Minions.  Agnes is just too cute.  My Granddaughter is even a fan but the Minions are her favorite. Her eyes light up and she dances when she sees them on screen.

An Invaluable Resource For Car Shopping

    This is a sponsored post.

Car buying can be stressful and I am not an expert on the subject. I want a good value for my money. I want a safe vehicle. I want it to be the color I want. I also want extra features and so much more. Thankfully I have a great husband who knows what to look for when we are car shopping. In the last 25 years we only have bought one car brand new off the lot. That was around 15 years ago and it turns out used cars work better for us. My husband is very handy and loves to work on cars so any problem that arises he can fix.  He actually likes to find cars that have minor things wrong but are priced low to work on.

A few months ago he found this new to us Mustang for a great price. He and my son are working on it so when my son gets his license in January, he will have this for his first car.
