Strawberry Banana Pudding

My husband makes the best banana pudding in the world. It is always a special treat when he makes it. Last weekend my niece made a banana pudding with a twist that my sister in law was nice enough share. I have not tried it yet but it has me thinking of things I could add to banana pudding. Maybe chocolate?

Quick and Easy Strawberry Banana Pudding

2 6oz Packages of instant vanilla pudding
2 boxes of vanilla wafers
3 cups of whole milk
1 lb of sliced strawberries
…1 sliced banana (or more if you really like bananas, which I don’t)
Whipped Cream (optional)

  • Place layer of vanilla wafers in a pan.
  • Mix pudding and milk. Blend well. (Be careful, as the pudding sits it hardens, may need to add more milk and blend to thin.)
  • Alternate layers of pudding, bananas, strawberries and vanilla wafers; top with whipped topping and a few banana/strawberry slices.
  • Refrigerate before serving.

Do you like banana pudding? How do you make yours?

Oh I have tried it with chocolate vanilla wafers and chocolate pudding too! It’s good but the strawberry banana pudding is the best variation on the recipe.

Yum! Looks deelish and easy! I’m in charge of making a desert for my church meeting and stumbled across this recipe. How much does that recipe typically make?
