My brother is expecting his first baby in December, a boy! So I am looking for all types of information to share with him. Mom Central introduced me a great new resource for information about nutrition and babies, www.InfantNutritionCenter.com . The site officially launched on October 19, 2009. There is also a webcast available to check out here. Infant Nutrition Centeroffers a unique way to lean more about nutrition and development. Showcasing new data and 3-D images, the site lets you explore and learn the latest research findings through video, pictures, and graphics, in depth questions like why infant eyesight depends on getting enough DHA and what key nutrients contribute to the healthy growth of your child’s brain.

This website brings together information from leading health centers and researchers across the country to explain how nutrition is crucial to infant development. It can be a great resource if you have questions along the lines of:

How can you make sure that your newborn gets the nutrients she needs to ensure healthy growth through her first birthday?

How do you keep her stomach from getting upset?

What should you, as an expectant Mom, eat to ensure that you stay healthy as your infant grows?

What vitamins do you need if you’re breastfeeding to ensure that you’re passing along the right nutrients to your infant?

I checked the site out and found lots of information to share with my brother. I like the fact that there are videos and articles to refer to. The videos did not freeze or anything while I was watching and that is always a plus to me. I hate when I try to watch a video online and I am not able to watch it completely through with no problems. That can be distracting. The 3D models are pretty cool because they are interactive and you can move them around and zoom in if needed.

“I wrote this review while participating in a blog campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Mead Johnson. Mom Central sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.”
