Well today is the first day of my journey to becoming debt free. Only credit cards, car payment and other bills. The mortgage is not included in the quest to become debt free.
I just have to figure out how to get something on paper that I can follow. But I had a talk with DH about how drastic I will have to be. I will not be able to have credit cards in my reach. I am going to figure out how do i go about freezing all of them. I want to only use cash. I wanted to try no eating out for a month but I think I will try 1 week at a time.
So today went ok. I told my husband “oh yeah let’s get McDonald’s for lunch” He stopped me right in my tracks and said we just tallked about that. We can eat leftovers”.I was a little shocked that he jumped right in and corrected me. But that was so good. I need that. So today was a good day, no eating out or shopping.
