Vegy Vida Dip Review: Designed With Kids In Mind

This is a sponsored post. Opinions are 100% my own as always.

I have mentioned before how my kids have always loved fruits and vegetables. When they were little I feed them lots of both. My youngest is 15 and my oldest is 23 and they still like to eat vegetables and fruit. Now that I have a granddaughter, I find myself trying to balance out the treats with healthy food, especially vegetables.

Leilani is two and she has learned to say no when she doesn’t want certain things, especially food. Well actually she says “No Thank you” if she doesn’t want something or to do something you ask and I think it just so adorable!

Leilani is really into dipping her food lately. She goes back and forth from eating the food or just licking the dip off. Of course I am a little concerned because ranch dressing and other dips have ingredients that include vegetable oil, sugar, xanthan gum and other things I can’t even pronounce. I am glad I was asked to check out Vegy Vida Dips. I did not not know there was a kid friendly, healthy option out there.

Vegy Vida Dip Review

Vegy Vida Review

Vegy Vida is the only 100% all-natural dip ‘n more made especially for kids. It contains absolutely no sugar, GMOs, gluten or anything artificial of any kind. Vegy Vida contains a proprietary all-natural
cucumber extract that softens the flavor of veggies for kids, who have three times the taste
buds of adults and therefore are more sensitive to vegetables and other foods. This helps kids learn to enjoy the taste of vegetables, starting out a lifetime of good eating habits.

There are five Vegy Vida dip flavors available:

  • Creamy Ranch
  • Cheesy Cheddar
  • Cool Buffalo
  • Zesty Southwest
  • Savory Bacon

The Vegy Vida dips are made in Peanut and tree nut free facilities. They are made with no soy, gluten, preservatives or sugar. These dips are made with ingredients I recognize and easily pronounce.

When the dips arrived in the mail, I put them in the refrigerator for Leilani to try the next time she came over. Of course my kids opened them because they like dips too. They have been using the dips on all types of food.  Sliced peppers and cherry tomatoes have been a favorite around here.  My daughter takes an assortment of veggies to work for snacks and lunch and she really likes the dipping sauces, especially the Savory Bacon.  The dips also tastes really good with baked potatoes. We do a little Savory Bacon and Cheesy Cheddar. My son tried some on his pizza and was happy with the Creamy Ranch. The cucumber stood out to him right away but he likes it.

Leilani has had the dip a few times and so far she likes it. I like that it is a variety of flavors without being too spicy. I think the biggest surprise from having these dips in the house is that my teen and adult children like the flavors too!  Vegy Vida Dips are perfect for kids and adults. I think we can all use a little extra veggies in our life and if we are going to use dips anyway, why not use something with simple ingredients like Vegy Vida? I am looking forward to trying Vegy Vida in some of the recipes that are on their site, especially the Cheesy Cheddar, Broccoli, Chicken & Rice Bake.  Make sure to visit Vegy Vida for recipes using their dips.

Vegy Vida is available in mass and specialty grocers such as Walmart, Meijer and Woodman’s.
